More about Sonus SFX-1 Restore Polish....

Sonus SFX-1 is a fast-action cutting and paintwork restoration polish. Use SFX-1 to cut and buff 1200 grit sanding marks, heavy swirl marks, surface scratches, orange peel and severe oxidation. You may also use Sonus SFX-1 to repair the damage cause by water spot etching and bird droppings.

Sonus SFX-1 is a machine polish. It requires enough “pad energy" to break down its polishing oxides so that it can polish out and leave a clear finish. Sonus SFX-1 may be used by hand as an isolated scratch remover. When used by hand, it must be used in conjunction with the Sonus SFX Pro-Applicator.

Sonus SFX-1 is a silicone-free, body shop safe formula. When finished polishing, what you see is what you get. SFX-1 does not contain fillers or waxes that mask or hide imperfections.

DIRECTIONS:
Use by hand or machine in conjunction with proper applicator pads only. Do not use in direct sunlight. Shake well before use.

For best results, apply with a Porter Cable 7424 dual-action polisher or a rotary buffer using a Sonus DAS Orange Foam Pad or a Sonus SFX-1fp Foam Pad. By hand, use a Sonus SFX-Pro Applicator. Use in a ventilated area. Do not use in direct sunlight.

By dual-action polisher, apply at ½- to ¾-speed with moderate pad pressure as necessary to achieve results. By rotary buffer, apply at 700-1,000 RPM. Reduce pressure and increase speed as the polish dries. Buff to a haze and wipe off residue with a dry microfiber polishing towel. Repeat until the damage or flaw is removed. Follow with Sonus SFX-2 to restore full gloss.

WARNING: Over-polishing with this product may unnecessarily thin your paint or clearcoat. Check your work often. Use only as prescribed to remove damage, and then progress to Sonus SFX-2 to further enhance the finish.
