Einszett was founded in 1936 in the city of Köln, Germany by Werner Sauer Sr. who believed it was possible to create a better polish than was currently available. Mr. Sauer stood apart from his competitors based on a simple philosophy that remains until this day: produce a premium quality formula without compromises and offer excellent service. Mr. Sauer named his successful formula einszett (translated as "1Z") based on the number-letter designation assigned to car license plates registered in Köln. It wasn't too long when the product range had expanded into a complete line of car care products for end-users, professional detailers, paint and body shops, and factory use. Tragedy struck the Saur family in 2015 when a fire broke out at the Einszett factory in 2015 leaving the Saur family with no choice but to shut down. Fortunately for Einszett fans a few key team members and the lead chemist came together to form Nextzett! Keeping the same values of Einszett and the Saur family the new generation of Einszett provides the same quality of car care that fans have grown to lover over the years. As one of only a few remaining manufacturers in the world, with in-house research & development department works with the help of innovative research methods on the constant improvement of our products as well as on the development of new products. The results of this research and development are highly effective formulations. By the aid of modern production technologies and choosing select raw materials we produce brand products on the basis of these formulations. einszett is certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001-2004, and TÜV*. einszett is one of only a handful of car care product manufacturers in the world that can make this claim.
