A pretty good leather conditioner
September 22, 2018
I've used numerous products over the years as a detailer myself back when I was younger, and now as a car collector and enthusiast.

The following comments are relative to my recent use on my 2005 Porsche Cayenne Turbo with full leather interior

The good:
It leaves a nice uniform coverage when applied lightly, and does make the leather feel SMOOTH. I didn't say SOFT. I DOES NOT SOFTEN the leather. I had some areas that are a little stiff/tough, and this does not SOFTEN the leather. It does make the surface very smooth to the touch, and it does add water repellency (I did a water drop test). So it likely leaves decent protect, just as a coated/semi analine leather needs.

I think this stuff worked best on the leather covered dash and door panels, not so well on the seats, which I feel need a something a bit more, as the are worn in more than the leather dash and door panels, and actually need a penetrating type conditioner like leatherique rejeuvinator.
This should be great for new leathers, protecting them.
I really do like what it does on the interior plastic trim (not the Porsche soft touch stuff, but the other plastic trim). It restores a nice finish, and not shinny like it did on the leather, and actual hides scratches.

The bad:
it smells horrible, but does go away after a day or so
It DOES NOT leave a MATTE finish. this is the biggest turn off for me, and was the reason I bought it because it said it leaves a like new matte finish. I tested it side by side with my ikea conditioner, and the rejeuvinator/followed by prestine clean, and those leave a matte finish like I love.
This leaves a satin finish, slightly glossy, and on my black leather, makes it a bit darker.

I still prefer my ikea leather cream (same as Volvo conditioner) and/or the leartherique products, or just a good clean and not conditioning since this is modern leather and doesn't really need it.

Im not sure if this stuff has UV protection either, it doesn't really say???

I might continue using on my leather dash and door panels, and plastic trim. And my other favs on the leather seats.

The best leather conditioner for a porsche. It really conditions and protect all type of leathers. Plus this is the only product that can give the brand new satin sheen and exact smell of a panamera turbo or cayenne s.
ProsOem porsche results.

Used along with Sonus Leather cleaner, it brings your leather back to life. so much so, my wife used it on the leather furniture and is now hooked. So I now buy two bottles, one for her one for me.
ProsEasy of use, results

Great product

the Sonus leather conditioner is fantastic. I have a 2006 King Ranch and the leather still smells and looks great. When I purchased the vehicle it was neglected and dry looking. Now it has that factory look and smell. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to protect their interior.

The only leather conditioner I will buy
June 29, 2011
This is the best leather conditioned out there, and I will only buy this from now on. Water-based, goes on easy, and leaves no greasy or slippery feel. I love the matte finish and the grip it gives to my leather interior!
