Use the iBrid with as small as a 1 inch foam pad!
Rupes ibrid nano makes it possible to polish small body panels with ease
Go where no polisher has gone before!
What exactly is the Rupes Bigfoot Nano with iBrid Technology? First and foremost, the Bigfoot Nano, available in short and long neck versions, enables you to CUT THE CORD and instead rely on Li-ION rechargeable batteries(either configuration includes two batteries). If you forget to charge one battery while the other is being used, you still have the option of plugging in the tool so you can continue to use it.

Secondly, the Rupes Bigfoot Nano with iBrid Technology gives you the option to switch between rotary, 3mm random orbital, and 12mm random orbital actions quickly and easily. In a nutshell, the Rupes Bigfoot Nano accomplishes the same task as 3 other tools, if such individual polishing options even existed in the first place! The Rupes Bigfoot Nano with iBrid Technology will forever change the way you detail.

The Rupes Bigfoot Nano with iBrid Technology is loaded with advanced features. For example, the Bigfoot Nano includes two Li-ION battery packs and a battery charger. 22-24 minutes is all you will need to charge the battery and each charge provides 30 minutes of run time under full load. The two battery packs allow you to use one in the tool, while charging the other. You will always have a battery charged and ready to switch out. Changing the battery is as easy as changing a backing plate. There are two buttons on the base of that unit that release the battery when depressed. Pull the old one out and slide the new one in – it’s that simple! LED indicators on the unit and the battery charger will keep you informed on how much power you have left in the battery pack.

The Rupes Bigfoot Nano with iBrid Technology is available exclusively in a money-saving kit that includes everything you need to get started.

Almost Perfect
February 17, 2020
Is it possible to fall in love with a tool? Well if your wife isn't referring to you but you are taking about a machine then the answer is YES!

Just got my Rupes BF Nano and it is an amazing tool. I've been away from detailing for almost 25 years and have now come back and the Rupes BF Nano is a welcome addition to my growing detail tool obsession.

I've given the BF Nano only 4 stars because it would be nice if the machine came with both the long and short necks and have the neck units detachable in a modular fashion and in one kit instead of purchasing another "add on" tool to the mix. It's almost perfect.

I do woodworking and one of my favorite brands is Festool which is made in Germany. They make several drills that have detachable chucks making the drill the drill the only one you will ever need without the worry of purchasing specialty drills to get er done! I own two of them. A small version and a larger version.

In conclusion I would like to see detail tool manufacturers move to this business model.
Pros
  • Easy to operate. Great results. Cordless which is a huge +. Carry case with accessories.
Cons
  • A bit pricy. Non modular head unit.

Awesome tool, but slightly lacking in power
June 29, 2017
The iBrid Nano really lets you get into places that would otherwise be very difficult to get into! the kit is also very well thought out and great to use. The polisher itself could use a little more power, however; it tended to bog down on smaller curved areas. This can be solved with the tool's rotary function, but it's not an optimal solution for those unfamiliar with rotary machines.

You know you want one!

Go ahead, spend the money. This polisher says you are a PRO! Get those spots(you know what I'm talking about).that you can't reach or you have to hand polish. Excellent on headlights. Did you want to refine a touch up you made? The kit comes with sanding pads. Got a stain on the carpet or seat? Brushes are included. You are ready to polish with this kit, it comes with almost everything you need to begin polishing areas you never could before. If you detail motorcycles, what are you waiting for?
Pros
  • Gets the tight spots
  • Kit is ready to go
  • Rotary or DA functions
Cons
  • Cost
  • Kit needs microfiber pads (Rupes blue just slings no matter what I do)
  • Did I mention cost? Who cares?

cut the cord
November 17, 2016
A lot of people wish Rupes would make a corded version of the Nano so they don't have to pay for batteries...

Guys... try it out first, cordless is next level, there is nothing in the way, and that degree of freedom is not possible to substitute.

Best thing about cordless is you dont have to move anything around. I now locate all defects to be wetsanded, wet sand all areas, then just grab a few pads and the small bottle of compound and go to town on the car without dragging wires around or figuring a way to move carts around, none of that nonsense, unfortunately at the end when I do a final polish with a larger polisher, the damn cord... DAMN CORD!!!
Pros
  • Amazingly powerful, and easy to use due to it being cordless.
Cons
  • metal housing on the head can scratch, so pad it up with some felt.

It's a great powerful little tool
November 4, 2016
The quality of Rupes tools is proven one of the best in business and this powerful tool is no exception. It's like a scalpel in doctors hands if used right can do miracles:)
Pros
  • Has two batteries and can also be plugged in through a power cord. Has plenty of power for such a little tool.
Cons
  • Does heat up a little when pushed to the limits.
