Great for a thorough clean up of glass when used on a DA

My personal experience:

I purchased it along with rayon pads to remove some pretty nasty scratches caused by the wiper blades on my windshield but on a DA (3401), I was unsuccessful. But it did make the windshield really clean(waterspots, road film..etc removed). I am guessing if used with a rotary polisher, it will get those scratches out but I haven't tried that yet.

Used this in conjunction with the Carpro Ryan pads on a GG6 and they eliminated light scratches in no time,15-20 minutes or so.
A very deep scratch was softened by 75-80% in two sessions of 2-3 hours each.
I'd highly recommend this via a powerful DA or rotary.
Don't forget about misting constantly with water.
  • Eliminates softer scratches, softens deeper scratches to almost not being observable.

Great glass polish

Ceriglass is fantastic at removing light to moderate imperfections in glass. But be aware it takes time and Ceriglass must remain damp with in use. Make sure you have a small misting bottle filled with DI water and a friend standing by to spray. Otherwise Ceriglass dries far too quickly! Also make sure you pick up a few Carpro Glass polishing pads and the correct size DA backing plate!
  • Works well
  • Dries quickly/ must remain wet

Ceriglass Review

I was very impressed with this product and how well it worked with a dual action polisher such as the Porter Cable 7424XP. Wipe off of the product was not the easiest but with the help of some quick detailer it did come off. My pad was 90% clean when just rinsed with water and squeezed out. Some XMT pad cleaner did the rest of the work. This was a major advantage in my opinion. Made clean up a lot easier. I did not notice any heat up of the glass after polishing a section which is a plus. Most all the water spots and scratches were removed from the glass and left a very nice finish. But a rotary polisher would achieve quicker and better results. I highly recommend this product for use by dual action polisher or rotary buffer.
  • User friendly, priced reasonably, cuts well with the cerium oxide.
  • The bottle top. Very small con, but could be changed.
