The Rupes LHR 15ES 5 Inch Backing Plate is factory replacement backing plate for use with the Rupes LHR 15ES Big Foot Random Orbital Polisher. This high quality backing plate was designed by Rupes for this polisher and will not work with other random orbital polishers. It has been fortified with a deep hook and loop material for secure pad mounting. Rupes Big Foot Polishers utilize a larger stroke to make them highly efficient. The hook and loop material that attaches the Rupes Foam Pads to the backing plate is very deep to provide for a strong grip. With frequent use the hook and loop material may begin to lose grip.
