Coating Glass With Pinnacle Balck Label Diamond Su
When it comes to glass protection, nothing beats the performance of a coating. Windshield sealants and other alternatives will work, and provide you with satisfactory hydrophobics, but it still won't beat the longevity and performance of a glass or surface coating.
Why's that? Well, it all comes down to the science in the product itself. Most coatings are developed with SiO2. This is also referred to as silicon dioxide or simply silica. This active ingredient produces a harder, and stronger bond to the surface. Thus, providing increased longevity and performance. There are a few extra steps that must be taken before a coating can be applied, and we'll cover those now.
Let's apply Pinnacle Black Label Surface Coating to this 2014 Ford F-350. In preparation for this, we've polished the glass using Diamondite Glass Polish to remove any impacted dirt and stubborn road grime, and followed up with Diamondite Glass Cleaner. If you're interested in a more in-depth guide on topical glass polishing, check out the article on Diamondite Glass Polish.

With a fully cleaned surface, free of any dirt or grime, we'll prep the surface using Pinnacle Black Label Surface Prep. Pinnacle Black Label Surface Prep strips off any leftover polishing oils or contamination that would interfere with the bond of the coating. When applying Pinnacle Black Label Surface Coating, we want pure contact with the surface.

Using the same approach as you would with a waterless wash or quick detailer, spray a generous amount of Pinnacle Black Label Surface Prep onto the surface and follow behind it with a high-quality microfiber towel. Wipe the surface in sweeping motions ensuring you collect any contamination as opposed to spreading it around using a circular buffing motion.
Unlike many other coatings, Pinnacle Black Label Surface Coating can be applied directly to the surface. The sprayer fitted on this bottle atomizes the product to an ultra-fine mist that makes application incredibly easy. Spray a quick mist of product onto your Lake Country Coating Applicator for lubrication and mist a moderate amount of product onto the panel you're working on.

Evenly distribute the product using a Lake Country Coating Applicator and work the coating into the surface until it disappears. If any high spots do occur, lightly buff them with a clean, soft, lint-free microfiber towel.

And that's it for the application process! To keep Pinnacle Black Label Surface Coating performing its best, you can care for it just like you would a paint coating. Using proper washing product such as Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Coating Shampoo and Pinnacle Black Label Coating Booster. While Pinnacle Black Label Surface Coating is rated for up to 3 years, you can expect to see 6 8 months of performance on glass. This is simply due to the surface environment. However, this also leads me to my favorite attribute of Pinnacle Black Label Surface Coating, versatility. Pinnacle Black Label Surface Coating can be used on paint, glass, wheels, metals, fiberglass, and more! The larger 8 oz. bottle of this product is able coat up to 25 vehicles, depending on size and the amount of surfaces being coated of course.
