Tired of Subpar Trim Solutions? Well, it's time you meet the newest addition to the Pinnacle Black Label product line! The Pinnacle Black Label Ceramic Trim Restorer is here to set a new standard for trim restoration!!
Product Application
Dealing with ugly and faded plastic trim is not one of the most enjoyable aspects of detailing. This is mostly due to the previous solutions that have been provided. When many people discuss trim restoration, it normally covers products that create a better" look than what you had before but is not a true restoration. This is because many trim products only sit on top of the surface and slowly degrade after every wash and every rainstorm. After a few weeks you'll start to see that washed out gray trim starting to resurface, leaving you to start right back at square one.
Well, this is no longer the case. The chemists behind the Pinnacle Black Label line have released a new benchmark for trim restoration. The Pinnacle Black Label Ceramic Trim Restorer fuses an OEM matched dye with active ceramic particles to provide the ultimate solution to faded black trim. In just one application, Pinnacle Black Label Ceramic Trim Restorer renews the dark luster your trim once had while providing up to two years of active protection! |
You may be thinking this is the kind of power only professionals wield". Wrong! This product can be used by everyone that is plagued with faded trim! Let's cover a complete application of Pinnacle Black Label Ceramic Trim Restorer to showcase its near effortless application.
They key to success with any product is the prep work. This is especially crucial for the application of Pinnacle Black Label Ceramic Trim Restorer. Since this product is an active dye, we need to make sure it can dig its way deep into the plastic. Plastic is a porous material; however, liquids still do not absorb easily. Another key note of this product is that it contains ceramic particles, which many of us know need a extremely clean surface for proper application.
We started by washing this truck just as normal, cleaning the trim with BLACKFIRE Foam Soap to get rid of any loose dirt on top. For a successful application of the product, it's vital to have the surface fully cleaned. Here, I'm using a nylon bristle brush and the Wolfgang All-Surface Cleaner to remove any dirt that has worked its way into the pores of the plastic. |
PRO TIP: Using a drill equipped with a Aqua Carpet Brush not only elevates the elbow grease you'll need to use, but it also provides a more vigorous scrub than you would be able to do just by hand.
From there, we'll give the trim full wipe down using Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Prep Spray. This step removes any oils or residues that would impede the bond of the ceramic particles. When preforming this step, I like to use the prep spray just as I would a waterless wash. Wiping the trim in a single sweeping motion and then pulling up and away from the surface. Then, flip to a fresh side of your microfiber and continue. |
Next, we'll tape off the trim to avoid any mishaps. Likewise, be sure to wear gloves when working with this product as well. You don't want to coat your skin in 2 years of protective dye! Using a microfiber applicator, apply a pea-sized amount of product. Since this bottle has a flow reducer, a few quick dabs of product is all that is needed. Start working the product thoroughly and evenly into the surface. |
Using a clean microfiber towel that you won't miss after this application, wipe up any excess product. You will want to allow the product to cure for 3 hours before driving the vehicle and 12 hours before any contact with moisture. The simple application and stunning results of Pinnacle Black Label Trim Restorer undoubtedly prove that this is a must have product for your faded plastic trim.
Oh yeah, don't forget to take a moment to step back and admire your work!
