These backing plates are constructed using a high strength molded urethane. This allows Lake Country Urethane Rotary Backing Plates to absorb heat while allowing flexibility over the surface. To handle the torque from a high-speed rotary buffer, the Lake Country Urethane Rotary Backing Plates contain an inner steal construction.

The Lake Country Urethane Rotary Backing Plate – 5 Inch accommodates 5 or 5.5 inch pads. This backing plate is designed for rotary polishers with a 5/8" x 11 spindle.
