The Buff and Shine Flexible Rotary Backing Plate is a flexible backing plate designed for 7.5 and 8 inch pads. This backing plate will allow you to cover more surface area, while still maintaining a quality detail. Using a durable hook and loop style grip, this backing plate will be compatible with most pads made today!

When you are going to do a detail, you want to be able to finish in a timely manner. So, if you are going to do an RV, or something with an incredible amount of surface area, you would want a pad/plate duo capable of cover the most surface area while still maintaining a great polish. The Buff and Shine Flexible Rotary Backing Plate will help get that detail done quickly and efficiently.

“What is the difference between this and the normal 7 inch backing plate"? The Buff and Shine Flexible Rotary Backing Plate is made with a durable piece of foam built in between the hard plastic base and the durable hook and loop face. This foam will make taking curves easier and cause less stalling of your pad. The hook and loop face is also great because now you can have most of the pads sold easily and firmly attached to your backing plate.

The best part? The Buff and Shine Flexible Rotary Backing Plate features a 5/8 x 11 threading, which is the standard for rotary style machine polishes. Because of this, you can be confident that your Buff and Shine Flexible rotary backing plate will properly connect to your rotary polisher and won't fall off as you work!
