Description

Perfect for polishing tight, contoured body panels. Buff and Shine 4 Inch Flat Foam Pads are the perfect choice for detailing smaller areas on your vehicle. These specialized pads allow for better control in smaller spaces and more exact precision during spot repair. Buff and Shine is the manufacturer of a complete line of high-quality foam an microfiber buffing pads and their 4 inch flat pads are no exception! Buff and Shine 4 Inch Flat Foam Pads are made using a combination of the highest quality Euro Prepolymer and Reticulated Polymer foams. Using these two types of foams allows Buff and Shine Pads to provide a wide range of compositions for cutting, polishing, and finishing steps. Each composition undergoes extensive testing before ever making it into the hands of the detailing public, so you can rest assured that you will get the most effective pad, no matter which composition you choose. Each Buff and Shine 4 Inch Flat Foam Pad is a svelte 1 inch thick, making them easier to use with a dual action polisher. Dual action polishers like the Porter Cable 7424XP feature a free-floating spindle bearing that will stop rotating when excessive downward pressure is put on the pad. A thinner pad has less mass for the polisher to spin, so Buff and Shine 4 Inch Flat Foam Pads allow for better rotation and faster defect removal overall. Buff and Shine 4 Inch Flat Foam Pads are outfitted with Velcro backing that is evenly trimmed along edges to reduce the risk of marring paint. The backing is attached using adhesive is heat and chemical resistant so you can be confident that it will not give out mid polish. Each pad is cut consistently with even, flat edges so that every pad you use is identical to the last one. Buff and Shine 4 Inch Flat Foam Pads can be washed and reused again and again! Use Buff and Shine 4 Inch Flat Foam Pads on dual action and rotary polishers equipped with a 3 or 3.5 inch backing plate.
