Item Description:

The northern paint protection

Highly durable glass-like shine

Extremely hydrophobic formula

3-hour cure time

Polish Angel Viking Coat is an extremely durable, extremely hydrophobic paint coating that leaves your vehicle protected by a glass-like shell. Originally develop in Germany for use in frigid Nordic climates, this unique formula will stand up to nearly any conditions. Polish Angel Viking Coat produces incredible gloss, smoothness, and durability with each application.

In Nordic regions like Sweden, the climate is grueling during the winter months with lots of snow, ice, and subfreezing temperatures. Polish Angel Viking Coat was originally developed for use in these unforgiving conditions, but dont worry its a perfect formula for use in any climate zone! With a simple application that requires only three hours cure time, your vehicle will be shiny and protected from the elements.

Polish Angel Viking Coat contains the highest concentration of silica and titanium dioxide offered by Polish Angel. The silica content ensures the hard shell of protection and long lasting durability while the titanium dioxide makes the color pop and increases overall shine. Only a thin layer is necessary to blanket the vehicle in shine and protection. The quick cure time makes Polish Angel Viking Coat a popular choice for car care enthusiasts everywhere! Directions:
  1. Work on a clean, dry surface that is cool to the touch. Shake product well before using.
  2. Apply a thin, even layer using a foam coating applicator. Apply with light pressure in small circular pattern.
  3. Leave on surface for 45 minutes.
  4. Buff off using a clean, soft, microfiber towel.
  5. Wait 2 hours, then apply a second coat in the same manner.
  6. Allow to cure for 3 hours.
  7. For added gloss, and to maintain the coating, use Polish Angel Viking Spritz.

Great Look, lacks durability
Living in Alaska, I thought what better a place to have a "nordic developed" product used. I had read some reviews previously about Viking Coat and it's ease of application and decided that I'd have to try it. Applying the product is as they say, very easy on and very easy off, it just takes some extra time with the 45min-1hr wait after application before removal and the time in between coats. I put on two coats. Up until this point I was extremely impressed with the product and was excited to see how long it'd last. Other coatings I'd used lasted several years, and I figured if this would even last one year I'd be happy because the look of the product was so impressive. After 1 month, I gave the car it's first wash (see third picture for beading). It appeared to be holding up pretty well so I continued to monitor it. The next wash was at 3 months and at this point the product seemed to be essentially gone. There was no beading present and it didn't sheet the water as paint with any type of protection on it would. So it was at this point that I was slightly disappointed with Viking Coat. I do think that it certainly is not worthy to be called a coating as it acts more like a sealant in terms of durability. I wouldn't use this on a daily driver due to the steep price unless you're planning on trying to win some car shows, as the product does look extremely well but just lacks in the durability department. For the price, I'd look for a good sealant that costs less and holds up similarly in terms of durability.

Merchant Response:Thanks for your review William! Did you try doing a decontamination wash to restore the properties of the coating? If not we would highly recommend it!
ProsEase of application/removal. Gloss it gives after applied is on the high end of the spectrum.
ConsCost, lack of durability.

High quality coating with easy application
This is one of the easiest coating I've applied.
Applies like wax (little goes long way) and buffs off easy with no high spots.

It's been about 2 months since I applied this product and still look good as day 1 and when I did plastic bag test, I felt noticeable difference compare to non-coated area.

It sands strongly against contaminants to stick while keeping super slick, high gloss surface.
ProsEasy application. Little goes long way.
Cons45 min cure time to buff off makes it little bit more time consuming.

One of The Best Coatings on this Planet
Applied this to a mineral white metallic BMW, the gloss and clarity along with very easy on and off are second to none. In the future I hope Autopia Car Care has the 100 ml and 200 ml bottles for sale. Will update after the winter to report on longevity.

ProsEasy on and off, gloss, clarity and insane beading.

Looks Great!
Viking Coat was a super easy application and looks awesome on my car. I used the Polish Angel Escalate as a finish polish and primer before the application of Viking Coat.

Once the car was Polished I applied the first coat of Viking via DA polisher and a black pad. Waited 45 minutes and buffed it off. It came off super easy. I waited 2 hours and applied the 2nd coat by hand using the included applicator. Super easy on and off after 45 minutes.

The car looks amazing. I'd say it has a really nice warm glow more like a wax than a coating.
