CARPRO PERL Coat Plastic and Rubber Protectant 1 Liter

Item Description:

PERL Coat is water-based silicon oxide, solvent-free, hydrophobic, and provides great satin shine and revives faded plastic, engine, rubber, and leather surfaces. While it can easily spray, it has great cling to keep it on the surface. It lasts up to 3 months.

PERL Coat has no chemical solvents, which can cause damage to tires. PERL Coat contains a high degree of UV protection to keep the surface from yellowing, cracking and fading as a result of sun damage. PERL Coat will stop leather from cracking and prevent dirt and stains from penetrating the surface. Treated surfaces require less cleaning and will remain in like-new condition. PERL Coat restores the original finish to vinyl, rubber, plastic, acrylic, and leather.

Plastic, engine, rubber, leather, and vinyl surfaces stay supple, flexible, and retain their color with regular use of PERL Coat.

PERL Coat creates a satin shine. It is non greasy, non oily, and has a great smell.

PERL Coat's water-based formula provides great durability on all tires, interior and exterior trim, vinyl and dashboards.

Directions:

Recommend dilution ratio:
External plastics - 1: 3 (1 quantity PERL : 3 quantity water).
Engine 1:1~3
Tires - undiluted ~ 1:1
Interior rubber / dashboard / leather / vinyl 1:5

  1. Dilute PERL with water and pour into a spray bottle.
  2. Clean the surface well before applying PERL Coat. Shake the diluted mixture well before use. Spray on surface from 20cm distance and wipe off with a microfiber towel.
  3. PERL Coat can be applied to tires and rubber trim with sponge applicator.

used it 1:1 dilution only so far. worked nice on tonneu cover and most trim parts. was very finicky on rear view mirror trim strangely. I had to buff hard to get a non-streaky finish. probably a weaker dilution would have been better for that.

Very versatile I use it straight on tires and dilute it 3:1 for interior dressing and 1:1 on exterior trim. Great shine for a water based product. Product doesn't last too long.
Pros
  • Great shine, economical when diluted
Cons
  • Doesn't last long on tires and trim

Perl is super awesome. I came from using Adams VRT and this stuff blows it out of the water. Use it to protect interior and exterior trims. Also use it as a tire shine. I use it as 1:1 and 5:1. Stuffs awesome just wish it was thicker consistency because of diluting it makes it runny a little bit.
Pros
  • Awesome protection
  • Beats Adams VRT
  • Smells nice
  • A little goes a long way
Cons
  • Wish the consistency was thicker

My go to dressing-Interior/exterior
January 26, 2019
Very versatile product from Carpro. Works great inside at 5:1 Nice shine without being overly greasy looking. Can be diluted further for a more natural shine. Can have some restorative effects on battered trim by helping to blend the panel. Same effect on exterior trim. I use it 1:1 on tires/wheel wells to give a nice satin look. Lasts about as long as any other water based dressing on tires in my opinion. If you want something that lasts a long time I would look at a solvent based dressing.
Pros
  • Can be cut for desired shine
  • Interior and exterior use

Applied to my car and the wifes during this past summer. Both cars were daily driven and we received alot of rain. I would reapply after every wash but between washes and the amount of rain we saw, the product held up to the task.
Pros
  • Lasts through rain. Great sheen/shine.
Cons
  • none.

Tire Dressing
September 9, 2016
I have tried every tire dressing that there is and I find that CarPro PERL is the best that I have ever used. It's long lasting and the best part is that it doesn't sling. I would recommend this product over anything else that's on the market.

This product goes a LONG way
December 26, 2014
I used this on tires and plastic trim. Love that it is water based but what I love more is that you can use this diluted. One liter of product goes a LONG way. I coated the wheels and trim on a suburban and barely used any product. This is the first time I have used this product so time will tell how longs it holds up. After reading other reviews I expect it to las
Pros
  • Can be diluted
  • Water based
  • Can be used on rubber, plastic
