Beyond great looks, Opti-Bond Tire Gel provides durable protection to rubber and vinyl. Advanced UV and ozone protectants shield tires and trim from sun damage and environmental pollution. Rubber and vinyl surfaces stay supple, flexible, and retain their color with regular use of Opti-Bond Tire Gel. The tire gel creates a shiny, but never greasy, finish on all rubber and vinyl surfaces. The finish is water-based, so it will not attract dust.

Application: Opti-Bond Tire Gel can be applied a couple of ways. You can wipe it on with a foam applicator, just like a traditional tire dressing. The other option is to dilute the gel 1:1 with water and apply it with a spray gun. The gun will deliver a fine mist over the tires and wheel wells. This is a great option for professional detailers and garages. Wipe away excess tire gel with a foam pad or a lint-free towel.

Great for Tires and Trim
I bought this because my main vehicle is an SUV with relatively large all terrain tires and I've grown tired of using spray products (personal preference, wanted to try something else). I was very pleased, with the finish. There's an initial shine but not not overly glossy which I was very happy about. It has been two weeks and one spray wash later, and of course the shine has faded, but the tires are still very nice and black and the sidewalls repel water very well. Even though my car has heavily faded trim I have yet to try it on this car because I'm in the middle of using another product on it.

I used it again on a 2017 Crosstrek and got the same great results on the tires, and used it again on the trim around the bottom of basically the entire car, and was just as pleased with how that turned out despite the fact that the trim hadn't faded yet. Overall this product worked extremely well for all purposes it was advertised for in my case.
ProsDecently long lasting Great finish Didn't require too much product
ConsHarder to apply than a spray product of course, but I found it to be far better once applied.

Great tire gel but...
...it does leave a lot of gel in your applicator. I use a quality tire dressing applicator from Lake Country, and there is a lot of product remaining in the applicator after I'm finished detailing. I have to squeeze the remaining product into a rag, and this takes some time. I addition, I use an APC to try and clean the remaining product. In general, I really like the product, but Optimum should consider developing an applicator that is easier to clean.

Great product!
I was looking for a product that give my tires that nice black color without the wet look. I am very happy with the product so far.

Best tire gel
I've been using tire gel for years and this is the only tire gel that I like. Goes on easy and doesn't come off when you drive like the other competitors. Leaves a nice shine.

Love this stuff
Gives a great satin look, lasts a couple weeks, and is not crazy expensive. I would highly recommend this stuff to anyone looking for a quality tire gel.
ProsLooks good, price, ease of use.

Gotta Love it
Easy to apply, with great results on tires and black trim. If the nice satin look lasts more than two weeks, this will be the best tire gloss I've ever used.

Great Product!!
I was always using Meg Endurance gel which was good but sling was bad! Just for this stuff and I very happy with it!! Very easy to apply with wheel sponge. Let sit for a good hour and wipe away whatever extra on wheel. It goes on watery and then in an hour it's sticky! It really gets into the wheel. It has been raining the past couple days and it still looks good. I clean my car a lot so I apply this product every couple days just a little to freshen it up. Not super glossy just the way I like it!! Def give it a try

Awesome Product!!!
I have been using this for over 2 years now. It does Not sling. As long as you apply it properly and let it sit it will not sling and provide a nice rich shine to the tire.
ProsEasy to use Does not sling leaves a beautiful shine
Consnothing is all good.

Not impressed.
Even after vigorously wiping off excess product, several hours following application, I still got "sling". First wash, following a 150 mile road trip, also resulted in "dulling & fading" of the tire surface. Looked great, following initial application though.
ProsInitially, great appearance. Deep, deep. black result, and NOT screaming ultra-high gloss, which looks fakey to me.
ConsSlings, like many other tire dressings.

Opti Bond the Name is Opti, Opti Bond (James Bond 007)
This is my one and only go to tire dressing, after years of searching for a tire dressing this is where it has stopped !! Stop spending money on other dressings, this one cannot be beat !! can be diluted creating even more of a value, And dont worry about sling, it wont do it !! you can fine tune the appearance by diluting creating a high gloss or a low gloss !! Lasts for weeks !!
ProsDurability, ease of use, Diluting, no slinging all over your car
