Item Description:

Protect your glass, vision, and safety with Optimum!

Resin based glass coating for long lasting protection

Beads and sheets water away for clear vision at low speeds

Resists wear and abrasion from wiper blade use

Optimum Opti-Glass Coating is an advanced resin coating that forms a semi-permanent film over your windshield and exterior glass. Optimum Opti-Glass Coating was engineered by the famous Dr. David Ghodoussi to work specifically on glass, providing exceptional water beading and sheeting while preventing road film and oil from sticking. The result is clear vision in all weather conditions. The advanced resin layer is impervious to abrasion; not even repeated windshield wiper use will lessen the effectiveness of Optimum Opti-Glass Coating.

Optimum Opti-Glass Coating will cause water to bead into tiny droplets and run off the surface, even at low speeds. You will appreciate the improved visibility during adverse weather and rainstorms. Optimum Opti-Glass Coating also improves your visibility when the sun is shining. The resin coating prevents common road contamination, such as road oil and bug splatter from sticking, so your windows clean easily. Optimum Opti-Glass Coating will last a minimum of one year and the application is so easy you will have no excuse for not having perfect vision all of the time!

Application of Optimum Opti-Glass Coating is easy! Wash your windshield and exterior glass thoroughly to remove any lose dirt or soiling. Use the Optimum Opti-Eraser with diluted Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine to deep clean the glass and remove any soiling, water spots, and road oil. If you are using a different cleaning system wipe the paint with diluted isopropyl alcohol; if you are using the Opti-Eraser system with Optimum No Rinse & Shine as a lubricant you can apply Optimum Opti-Glass directly over the surface.

Wipe a small amount of Optimum Opti-Glass Coating over the glass in overlapping passes using a poly foam applicator or Optimum Opti Dual Pro Applicator. Make sure that the coverage is even and complete. Allow to dry for 2 minutes then buff away residues using a soft microfiber towel such as a Supreme 530 Microfiber Towel. The surface can be exposed to water in as little as 30 minutes but cleaning with chemicals or pressure should be avoided for 24 hours.

For maximum protection, clean your glass frequently using Optimum Opti-Glass Clean and Protect Concentrate. Replace your regular windshield wiper solution with diluted Optimum No Rinse & Shine for effective cleaning and streak-free results.

Amazing glass coating...
September 26, 2016
Amazing coating, and easy to apply. Prep your glass well and this is incredibly simple to apply. Apply it in circular motions. Wait a couple of minutes. Buff it off. That's it.

To the guy who said it was too grabby during application and removal: grabby during application means you either didn't have enough product on the applicator, or your glass was not clean enough. Grabby during removal likely means it wasn't dry. Once this stuff flashes I didn't have any grabbyness at all. One windows I tried to buff too soon and it was a little tacky.

And watch the time - this stuff sets quicky. At 2 minutes I would test a small spot. If it comes off cleanly and is dry, you're good to remove it. If tacky or wet, wait another minute and try again. It's like old school car wax - put it on, let it go opaque, and remove.

You'll spend some time on the prep work. The little amount of effort it takes to put this stuff on is almost unbelievable.

Hard to use
September 17, 2016
I am a big fan of optimum coatings including opti seal and gloss coat but this one is a lot harder to use. It flashes very fast, it's very grabby during application and removal too. I found if you spritz the surface with a few drops of water as you wipe it off, it works a lot better and easier. I think I'll stick to opti seal on glass even if I have to apply it more often because it's so easy
Maybe it lasts long I'm not sure yet Expensive , hard to apply hard to remove

Ive tried another glass coating and was less then thrilled with the results. Not so with this product. I polished using ceri glass and then used Eraser. The foam applicator that came with it made the product very grabby and I switched over to a suede cloth with a block applicator making it apply effortlessly. Its been several weeks now and not any sign of it slowing down. Plus I have enough product left over to do 10 cars on all their windows!
Easy application Easy off Very hydrophobic Little goes a long way Foam applicator is grabby

First time doing a coating and it was easy
October 7, 2015
First experience with doing any kind of coating and it was super easy. Used Opti-Eraser to decon the windows. Didn't polish because the car is relatively new. Followed by IPA wipedown. Couple spritzes on the foam applicator and used small circular motions to ensure complete coverage. Let dry 2 mins and buffed out with just a little elbow grease, really not too hard to buff out. Left with a streak free slick feeling glass. Have to wait until it rains to see how well it repels water but I'm very happy so far. Barely used any product, I can probably do at least 10 cars with one bottle.
Easy to follow directions Easy to apply and buff Needs very little product per car Not really a con but can't comment on durability or water beading yet.

First time use a little challenging if you don't remove the excess product within 2 minutes. The product works as advertised. Will be getting more when this runs out.
