Great for getting all the water out of the cracks and crevices. I used to drive my truck around the block a few times to shake all of the water drops out of the cracks until I got this . lol

Warm Filtered Air at adequate velocity

I wish I had purchased one of these a few years ago. It is irritating to towel / chamois broad panels when trapped water dribbles from body trim and mouldings leaving spots unless quickly toweled. This little giant performs to solve that problem and leaves only a short toweling session for completed drying. The "SideKick" is made well and feels lighter in weight than five pounds. Have no idea how well the motor and heating element will perform over time. You may want to wear ear protection when running it (I do this also when vacuuming).
ProsWell made steel canister Filtered air Warmed air Adequate air velocity for the purpose
ConsOne Year Warranty (why not FIVE years?) Must ship prepaid for repairs plus $10 return shipping ($20 total shipping)

I love it.
It's compact, so I can fit it in so many places.
It's well built. It feels sturdy, with tight tolerances. I don't think anything will come loose anytime soon.
Power! Really, You have to be careful where you aim it. I can probably recreate Marilyn Monroe's dress blowing up with the Metor Blaster Sidekick. I also got the hose and carrying strap. Haven't used the strap, but the hose makes it easier to get into tighter areas (think, engine bay detailing!). The hose kit version is worth the extra money.
Great purchase. Now I'm saving for one of it's bigger brothers!
ProsGood power from a compact unit. Compact unit! Well built. It instills confidence in it's quality
ConsIt wasn't free! Can't think of any.

No more drips!!

This thing may be small but it does pack a punch. With a very hydrophobic LSP and drying in the shade you can easily use it to dry almost the whole car. I usually just use it for tires, wheels, mirrors, around the handles, and lights. I used to always have drips from the mirrors but no more with this little guy.

I'm sure it doesn't have the power to dry an entire car efficiently but after I sheet the car there isn't much water left anyways. I just leave this in the trunk with a short extension cord and am up and running in a couple minutes. No more runs from the gas cap, side mirrors, license plate, or seams for me. The unit weighs next to nothing too and I don't need to worry about banging it in to the car b/c it's so compact.
Prossmall but powerful great for tires and lugs
