Great protection, lacks in the shine/depth dept.

It was easy to use and apply. It lasted for a good while and was layered. However, it does not add any to clarity/shine/sheen/depth of paint.

16 months of protection
July 19, 2017
You have to use two coats to get max protection from JetSeal. You also then have to follow with normal wax and layerable sealants. I got 16 months of protection in Oregon working at a sawmill, living in farm country (read lots of airborne contamination) in an area with 50 in of rain, plus occasional snow and ice. Recipe = 2 coats of Jet Seal 30 min apart, then cure for 24 hours, then Collinite 915 wax, then seal again with Optimum Opti-Seal. For maintenance I used Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash two to three time a week, and alternated Opti-Seal and Optimum Spray Car Wax (carnauba/sealant mix) once a week. This got me through two winters for a total of 16 months before I began to get water spots which were not coming off - at this point I reasoned that the protection was gone, and I stripped with P21S Paint Cleanser, clayed with Adams Polishes Visco Elastic clay, and then started over with JetSeal......
ProsVERY long lasting when 2 coats applied. Great shine. Plays nice with subsequent layers of light sealants and carnauba waxes. 20 min wait time before removal may seem like a problem, but you get the benefits in having a long-lasting product. I've tried other sealants with shorter wait/cure times, but they did not stand up to weather/bugs/bird bomb abuse like JetSeal.stands up to frequent rinse-less washes
ConsNone - not sure why other reviewer did not get long-lasting results. High percentage of reviews on other sites all agree that Jet Seal is a long lasting product.

Protection doesn't last

I like CGs products, but this is one of the worst. I got less than a month of protection with Jet Seal. With a name like that you expect better. This one I gifted to an acquaintance.
