Item Description:

The first Cyclo Polisher with Variable Speeds!

Adjustable speed from 650 to 3500 RPMs for low and high speed polishing.

VES reduces vibration giving Cyclo polishers an amazingly smooth feel.

Included backing plates accept 4 inch hook and loop polishing pads.

The heavy duty Cyclo Orbital Polisher 5-Pro has the solid construction and balanced operation you expect from Cyclo, but now it has a variable speed controller! Patented polishing mechanisms ensure smooth, swirl-free polishing with minimal vibration.

The Cyclo Orbital Polisher 5-Pro was patented in 1953. It is the only dual head polisher on the market. The two polishing heads mimic hand polishing, only faster and more consistent. The Cyclo is always balanced on its two heads. Just like all Cyclos, the 5-Pro is expertly machined, manually polished, and hand-fitted to ensure longevity. Every part of the polisher is serviceable and replaceable.

Variable Speed Controller

The Cyclo 5-Pro Polisher features a Variable Speed Controller to set the speed from 650 to 3000 OPM. Perform slow buffing or high speed polishing.

Vibration Elimination System

The Vibration Elimination System is only found on Cyclo polishers. A pre-installed counterweight on the polisher balances the weight of precision-matched, weighted inserts. Different weighted inserts correspond to different Cyclo attachments.

Prior to this innovation the Cyclo Model 5 polisher imparted only about one-tenth the vibration of traditional rotary and dual action polishers. With the introduction of the new Cyclo VES, the amount of vibration is reduced even further and nearly eliminated.

ProGuard Backing Plates

The included ProGuard Backing Plates have hook and loop fasteners to hold Cyclo Pads securely. The ProGuard Plates have rubber bumpers to protect the vehicle against accidental impact.
The Cyclo Orbital Polisher 5-Pro is the most versatile Cyclo yet! Use it for high speed compounding, polishing, and slow buffing using any of Cyclo's pads and bonnets.

I have the guy that buys this one!
I bought the cyclo several years ago to wax and polish a 2001 vette. That is one hard paint to correct and I have bought some microfiber pads this year for the spring cleaning. The machine is very smooth to run and has a minimal amount of vibration. The tight spots will need something smaller to get into for example around mirrors.
Pros1 Minimal Vibration 2. Awesome final stage polishing
Cons1. Still working on getting it to cut hard paints.

Fantastic
First used one to polish an older volunteer fire truck. Hand polishing and regulat orbital polishers made no progress. The Cyclo machine made the trucks paint look like new. Before cyclo, we expected to repaint the truck.

I immediately purchased a new Cyclo for myself. It polishes my vintage cars very nicely. When I was a kid, I polished and waxed my cars by hand. Ive prepped my own cars for shows, including the Pebble Beach Concours. My hand and regular orbital polishing never looked this good. Cant believe I never knew about the Cyclo before.
ProsDifferent pads allow you to cut at different rates. Makes polishing and waxing of regular and show cars quick and easy. The results are perfect.
ConsThe first one I used was quite old. While it still operated well, it had a toggle switch that I kept accidentally hitting and turning the unit off. I bought the one with the variable speed switch. Problem resolved, and it’s easier to begin spreading product at a slower speed.

Cyclo pro buffer
I have enjoyed using my new buffer. Not only ie it a good product, but Scott at the store has been a wealth of knowledge, and helpful in answering my questions. He has giving me valuable information on detailing my 1931 Ford,2008 Toyota Tocoma,2011 Subaru Out back, and 23 year old BMW Motorcycle. A utopia is not just a supplier, but a very well layed out web site, with lots of valuable information and of course highly skilled people like Scott., to stear you in the right direction. Well... I'm Back! And I'm here to tell you, this is by far the Best Ever I've Used. It lays done enough wax to protect your paint. I lived in Las Vegas when purchased, moved to utah for the winter ( I know was I ought of my MIND, yes, I was victim of a shapely object known as the opposite sex. Now that the spell has lifted I'm back at the serious things in life, women would laugh, but my other shapely object took a beating this winter, salt, sand, more like pea gravel, and did i mention salt, oh and did I mention salt. This has gotta be the stupidest stuff we waste our Tax dollar on. It just makes things icy as all get out, and did i mention It wrecks everything, Its not like our Roadways in America don't need a little TLC as it is. The Higher Powers that Be, said "Salt the answer". I grew up there in snow country, you slow down when it snows, and you by a piece of meat truck for Winter ( Jack Frost) because he's not nice to anything, causes pot holes that will take your tire off-or bend an axel, front end alignments and tire balances every Spring if you own a car is a good idea. This Cyclo put down enough wax ( 4 to 6 Ounces) each time, that it created a bearier, even the pea gravel didn't chip my ride. there is something to be said there! This was new paint, It didn't need a wax job, I was mearly being pro active ( use to be in the NAVY) , anyone herd of PMS? It's maintenance before catastrophic failure. It was unbelievable, yes I took it through a few drive through car washes. I'm not one to get out of a perfectly warm vehichle to spray water on it and me when its 20 below zero. But i smiled every time. no scratches or dings, and when it blew off the water it still beaded up. This was the washers with carpet hanging on the bars, and on the polls that whired around at 40 miles an our, the type of car wash you worryabout the paint coming off and not even a scratch. I'M SOLD! you should be too.

Polishing
I could make a P-38 shine w/no paint like tester-years, this is truly an amazing machine. It looks like your Mothers Kirby Vacume. To bad they didn't let me shine the unmanned rocket NASA just set up to Burt Rutan, he would have been proud of the shine but second guessed the Rockets design. this is one good, and I'll say qwik way to achieve what we all like, an easy shine done right!
ProsIt's ease of use to acquire the most perfect shine possibly! these different cutting pads Velcro on to rubber pads and boy, do they stick, there almost hard to get off you girls.
Consnothing!!!!!!
