ULTIMA PAINT GUARD PLUS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Use Sparingly: Ultima Paint Guard Plus must be used very sparingly. About 1/4 ounce of product is all that's needed to treat most cars.

Preparation: You will achieve the best results with Ultima Paint Guard Plus if your vehicle is clean and completely dry. Thoroughly wash and dry all surfaces. If bonded contamination is present, deep clean your vehicle's paint with the Ultima Elastrofoam System. If swirl marks, water spots or other paint defects exist, polish your paint with Ultima Paint Prep Plus before sealing with Ultima Paint Guard Plus.

Application: Start at one corner of the vehicle (e.g., left front fender).  Mist the Ultima Microfiber Applicator with Ultima Paint Guard Plus twice (two pumps) to prime the pad with product.  Wipe the product in well and finish by wiping in a straight line direction (this will help you see where you have applied product).  When it appears that no more product is being applied to the paint, spray one more shot of product onto the applicator.  Do not spray directly on your vehicle.  Continue to wipe until the entire vehicle is complete.  By the time you get back to where you began, the first couple of panels should already look dry.  The whole process should take less than 10 minutes.

Proper Application Note: When applying, the product should not go on looking "wet".  Proper application leaves what appears to be an oily film.  This film will begin to dry immediately.  If you apply too much product, the drying time may increase significantly.

Do Not Buff Off or Wipe!: After application, you can sit back and watch as Ultima Paint Guard Plus does its job.  When properly applied, your vehicle's paint finish will be very glossy and streak-free in less time than it takes to buff off a traditional car wax product (about 30 minutes).  Although you may be tempted to touch and wipe your paint finish... DON'T!  If you simply can't keep you hands off the amazing Ultima shine, we recommend that you wait at least a full hour or more before wiping.  The longer you wait (up to 12 hours) the better.  After 1 hour, you can drive your vehicle.  Driving (air friction) will accelerate the cure time.

Applicator Care:  Do not use a different type of applicator with Ultima Paint Guard Plus.  The large microfiber applicator provided insures an even, streak-free coating.  If your vehicle is clean, your Ultima Microfiber Applicator will not get dirty from use and it will dry soft and odor-free.  Store it in a Ziploc baggie or a clean, dry location.  If your applicator becomes soiled, you may wash it as you would other microfiber products.

After Care: After treatment with Ultima Paint Guard Plus, your vehicle will be easier than ever to wash and keep clean.  Insects, tar, road grime, brake dust, road salt, bird dropping and other hazards are easily washed off with Ultima Paint Guard Wash.  Where and when possible, we recommend washing weekly with Ultima Paint Guard Wash.  When washing is not possible, you can keep you exterior clean with Ultima Detail Spray.

Frequency of Use: Ultima Paint Guard Plus is the most durable paint sealant product available.  While we have tested durability (shine, water beading and slickness) up to a year, proper paint care dictates that 3-4 treatments a year offers the very best protection possible.

More Shine:  If your goal is the wettest-looking, deepest, clearest, most distortion-free finish you can imagine, Ultima Paint Guard Plus can be layered to produce a jaw-dropping, show car shine that will turn heads and make you the envy of every car fanatic in your neighborhood.  In most cases, on a well-polished finish, 2-3 coats of Ultima Paint Guard Plus produces stunning results.  To keep this shine, re-treat monthly and maintain with Ultima Detail Spray. 

ULTIMA INTERIOR GUARD PLUS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Use Sparingly: Ultima Interior Guard Plus must be used very sparingly. About 1/4 ounce of product is all that's needed to treat most car interiors.  Overuse will cause heavy fumes and excessive drying time.

Preparation: You will achieve the best results with Ultima Interior Guard Plus if your vehicle's interior is clean and completely dry. Thoroughly clean all surfaces to be treated with Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel and towel dry.  If stains are present, treat with an appropriate stain remover before sealing.  Just as Ultima Interior Guard Plus prevents stains from setting, it will also seal in stains.

Application: Mist the soft side of an Ultima Dual-Foam Interior Applicator with Ultima Interior Guard Plus twice (two pumps) to prime the pad with product.  Wipe the product in well and finish by wiping in a straight line direction (this will help you see where you have applied product).  When it appears that no more product is being applied to the finish, spray one more shot of product onto the applicator (we recommend spraying low over your carpet to avoid overspray) .  Do not spray directly onto you interior finishes (except fabric and carpet).  Continue to wipe until the entire interior is complete.  Allow the doors and windows to remain open for at least 30 minutes after application to aid in drying. 

Fabric and Carpet Application: Ultima Interior Guard Plus is an excellent fabric sealant.  Once sealed, fabrics and carpet will resist stains and fading.  Before treating, fabric and carpet must be clean and completely dry.  Do not treat a damp surface, as the sealant will not properly bond with the textile.  To apply, mist over an area of fabric or carpet and towel in using a microfiber detailing towel.  Do not saturate the fabric.  Two light coatings are more effective than a heaving coating.  Allow one to two hours of drying time before use.  Ventilate the vehicle while applying and drying.

DON'T!  If you simply can't keep you hands off the amazing Ultima finish, we recommend that you wait at least 30 minutes before wiping.  The longer you wait (up to 12 hours) the better.  After 1 hour, you can sit in your vehicle.

Applicator Care:  Do not use a different type of applicator with Ultima Interior Guard Plus.  The large foam applicator provided insures an even coating.  If the interior of your vehicle is clean, your Ultima Dual-Foam Interior Applicator will not get dirty from use and it will dry soft and odor-free.  Store it in a Ziploc baggie or a clean, dry location.  If your applicator becomes soiled, you may wash it in the sink by hand with dishwashing liquid.  Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before use.

After Care: After treatment with Ultima Interior Guard Plus, your vehicle's interior will be easier than ever to keep clean.  A quick wipe once a week with Ultima Detail Spray and a soft towel is all that's needed.

ULTIMA TIRE & TRIM GUARD PLUS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Use Sparingly: Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus must be used very sparingly. About 1/4 ounce of product is all that's needed to treat four tires and wheels.  A full detail of all trim, tires, wheels and the engine compartment will require less than two ounces of product.

Preparation: You will achieve the best results with Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus if your tires and trim are clean and completely dry.  Prior to initial treatment, we recommend a thorough cleaning with Dawn dishwashing liquid.  Dawn will remove all dirt, grime and previously applied dressings.  After cleaning, towel dry thoroughly to avoid spotting.

Application: Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus may be applied in the sun, but for best results we recommend application in a shaded area.  For all plastic and rubber trim, dispense on the soft side of the Ultima Dual-Foam Applicator with Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus and wipe it on the surface to be treated.  For all hard surfaces, including wheels, chrome trim, stainless steel trim, and exhaust tips, use the firm side of the applicator.  Wipe the product in well. If you get a little Ultima Tire and Trim Guard Plus on your glass or paint, simply buff it off with a clean, dry microfiber towel.

Proper Application Note: When applying, the product should not go on looking "wet".  Proper application leaves a rich-looking, dark film.  As the film dries, it will take on the natural sheen of the surface.  If you apply too much product, the drying time may increase significantly.

Do Not Buff Off or Wipe!: After application, you can sit back and watch as Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus does its job.  When properly applied, your vehicle's trim will look as it did when new.  Although you may be tempted to wipe or buff your trim, it is not necessary.  If you simply can't keep your hands off the amazing Ultima finish, we recommend that you wait at least 30 minutes before wiping.  The longer you wait the better.  After 20 minutes, you can drive your vehicle.  Driving (air friction) will accelerate the cure time.

Applicator Care:  Do not use a different type of applicator with Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus.  The large dual-foam applicator provided insures an even, streak-free coating on all surfaces.  Your Ultima Foam Applicator will turn black when used on tires and other rubber trim.  This does not harm the applicator.  After use, wash the applicator by hand with Dawn dishwashing liquid and allow to dry.

After Care: After treatment with Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus, your vehicle's trim will be nearly carefree for three full months.  Tires may require treatment monthly to maintain a crisp, freshly detailed appearance, however a single application will maintain protection for three full months.  To maintain your trim, all you need to do is wash and dry your vehicle regularly.  Insects, tar, road grime, brake dust, road salt, bird dropping and other hazards are easily washed off with Ultima Paint Guard Wash.  Even your tires, wheels and engine compartment will easily clean up with Ultima Paint Guard Wash and a wash mitt.  You can stop using harsh tire and wheel cleaners!  They simply won't be necessary. 

Frequency of Use: Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus is the most durable treatment available for trim.  While we have tested for visible protection for up to a full year, proper trim care dictates that 4 treatments a year offers the very best protection possible.

More Tire Shine:  If your goal is deep, dark, wet-looking tires, Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus will deliver.  Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus can be layered to produce a jaw-dropping, show car tire shine that will turn heads and not attract dust or sling off onto the side of your car.  In most cases, on a perfectly clean and dry tire, 2-3 coats of Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus produces stunning results.  To keep this high gloss shine, avoid using tire and wheel cleaners (wash with Ultima Paint Guard Wash) and re-treat every two to three weeks.
