ULTIMA ELASTROFOAM PAINT CLEANING SYSTEM  APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Preparation: Prior to use you must thoroughly wash your vehicle.  Failure to thoroughly wash and rinse your vehicle may lead to paint scratches from grit and other forms of hard contamination. You will achieve the best results with the Ultima Elastrofoam Paint Cleaning System if your vehicle is clean and dry.

Application: Feel your paint to find areas of heavy bonded contamination and roughness. Work on a small area (2' by 2') at a time.  Spray face of the rubber face of the Elastrofoam sponge and the area to be cleaned with Ultima Paint Cleaning Gel. Proper lubrication is essential.  Never use dry.  Lightly rub the Elastrofoam sponge over the area to be cleaned.  Heavy rubbing (pressure) is not required.  After several passes over the area, dry with a clean, soft microfiber towel.  Inspect by feeling for remaining contamination.  The surface should feel perfectly smooth, like glass.  Repeat if necessary.

Frequency of Use: The Ultima Elastrofoam Paint Cleaning System is a very gentle polish and may be used as often as needed to remove bonded contamination.  Use twice a year, at a minimum, as a pre-treatment prior to polishing with Ultima Paint Prep Plus.  Use as needed to spot treat to remove insect remains, tar, oil and other visible contamination not removed through regular washing.

Elastrofoam Sponge Care:  Keep your Elastrofoam sponge clean.  During use, rinse frequently in a bucket of soapy water and squeeze to remove excess water.  Store in a cool, dry area.  Do not allow the sponge to sit in the hot sun.   

ULTIMA PAINT PREP PLUS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Use Sparingly: Ultima Paint Prep Plus can be used sparingly. About two to three ounces of product is all that's needed to polish most cars.

Preparation: You will achieve the best results with Ultima Paint Prep Plus if your vehicle is clean and completely dry. Thoroughly wash and dry all surfaces. If bonded contamination is present, deep clean your vehicle's paint with the Ultima Elastrofoam System.  Park you car in a shaded area and allow to cool before application.

Hand Application: Dispense 3-4 dabs of polish on orange side of an Ultima Dual-Foam Exterior Applicator and rub it into you paint.  If removing swirl marks or visible oxidation, rub briskly.  If you paint is in good condition, there's no need to rub heavily.  Apply to one panel at a time.  As needed, apply more polish to the applicator.  Rub until only a fine film remains.  Buff off with a microfiber buffing towel to a brilliant shine. 

Machine Application: Dispense a ring of polish in the center of a 5" to 6" foam "swirl remover" pad.  Adjust polished speed to the mid-range setting and place the pad on your vehicle's surface.  Apply firm pressure then switch on the polisher.  After distributing polish on the panel, let up on the pressure and work in well.  Run the machine until only a fine film remains.   Buff off with a microfiber buffing towel to a brilliant shine. 

Frequency of Use: Ultima Paint Prep Plus is a very gentle polish.  Use twice a year as a pre-treatment prior to applying Ultima Paint Guard Plus.

More Shine:  If your goal is the wettest-looking, deepest, clearest, most distortion-free finish you can imagine, after removing swirl marks and oxidation, Ultima Paint Prep Plus can be applied by machine with a soft foam  "finishing pad" to achieve show car quality results.   

ULTIMA PAINT GUARD PLUS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Use Sparingly: Ultima Paint Guard Plus must be used very sparingly. About 1/4 ounce of product is all that's needed to treat most cars.

Preparation: You will achieve the best results with Ultima Paint Guard Plus if your vehicle is clean and completely dry. Thoroughly wash and dry all surfaces. If bonded contamination is present, deep clean your vehicle's paint with the Ultima Elastrofoam System. If swirl marks, water spots or other paint defects exist, polish your paint with Ultima Paint Prep Plus before sealing with Ultima Paint Guard Plus.

Application: Start at one corner of the vehicle (e.g., left front fender).  Mist the Ultima Microfiber Applicator with Ultima Paint Guard Plus twice (two pumps) to prime the pad with product.  Wipe the product in well and finish by wiping in a straight line direction (this will help you see where you have applied product).  When it appears that no more product is being applied to the paint, spray one more shot of product onto the applicator.  Do not spray directly on your vehicle.  Continue to wipe until the entire vehicle is complete.  By the time you get back to where you began, the first couple of panels should already look dry.  The whole process should take less than 10 minutes.

Proper Application Note: When applying, the product should not go on looking "wet".  Proper application leaves what appears to be an oily film.  This film will begin to dry immediately.  If you apply too much product, the drying time may increase significantly.

Do Not Buff Off or Wipe!: After application, you can sit back and watch as Ultima Paint Guard Plus does its job.  When properly applied, your vehicle's paint finish will be very glossy and streak-free in less time than it takes to buff off a traditional car wax product (about 30 minutes).  Although you may be tempted to touch and wipe your paint finish... DON'T!  If you simply can't keep you hands off the amazing Ultima shine, we recommend that you wait at least a full hour or more before wiping.  The longer you wait (up to 12 hours) the better.  After 1 hour, you can drive your vehicle.  Driving (air friction) will accelerate the cure time.

Applicator Care:  Do not use a different type of applicator with Ultima Paint Guard Plus.  The large microfiber applicator provided insures an even, streak-free coating.  If your vehicle is clean, your Ultima Microfiber Applicator will not get dirty from use and it will dry soft and odor-free.  Store it in a Ziploc baggie or a clean, dry location.  If your applicator becomes soiled, you may wash it as you would other microfiber products.

After Care: After treatment with Ultima Paint Guard Plus, your vehicle will be easier than ever to wash and keep clean.  Insects, tar, road grime, brake dust, road salt, bird dropping and other hazards are easily washed off with Ultima Paint Guard Wash.  Where and when possible, we recommend washing weekly with Ultima Paint Guard Wash.  When washing is not possible, you can keep you exterior clean with Ultima Detail Spray.

Frequency of Use: Ultima Paint Guard Plus is the most durable paint sealant product available.  While we have tested durability (shine, water beading and slickness) up to a year, proper paint care dictates that 3-4 treatments a year offers the very best protection possible.

More Shine:  If your goal is the wettest-looking, deepest, clearest, most distortion-free finish you can imagine, Ultima Paint Guard Plus can be layered to produce a jaw-dropping, show car shine that will turn heads and make you the envy of every car fanatic in your neighborhood.  In most cases, on a well-polished finish, 2-3 coats of Ultima Paint Guard Plus produces stunning results.  To keep this shine, re-treat monthly and maintain with Ultima Detail Spray. 

ULTIMA DETAIL SPRAY PLUS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Paint Condition: To prevent scratching and swirl marks, Ultima Detail Spray Plus should not be used to clean large areas that are heavily soiled.  When heavy soil is present, wash your vehicle with Ultima Paint Guard Wash.

Exterior Application: Always use a soft, clean microfiber buffing towel, such as the Ultima AutoSpa Buffing Towel.  Fold your towel into quarters.  Mist the surface of your car with Ultima Detail Spray Plus (hold bottle 12-15" away from surface), wipe, flip towel and buff dry.  For best results, apply to a cool surface and work on a single panel at a time.

Interior Application: Always use a soft, clean, lint-free microfiber towel, such as the Ultima AutoSpa Buffing Towel.  Fold your towel into quarters.  Mist the wipe towel, not the interior surface.  Use the damp towel to dust all interior surfaces.  Where spills and stubborn spots are present on leather, vinyl, plastic and glass, lightly mist the surface directly and wipe.  For best results, apply to a cool surface.
