Meguiars #54 Mirror Glaze Boat/RV Gel Wash
Biodegradable formula will not strip protective coatings!
Your boat is half submerged in water so it’s clean, right? Wrong! Both fresh water and salt water contain micro organisms and algae that can attach to the hull of your boat as it cuts through the water. In small numbers, these animals are invisible to the naked eye, but they appear green or brown as they accumulate on the hull. In addition, minerals and salt in the water contribute to oxidation and stains on the fiberglass.
Likewise, RVs are subject to all the airborne contamination and debris as your vehicle. Keep your fiberglass vehicles clean and oxidation-free with Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze #54 Boat/RV Gel Wash!
Meguiar’s #54 is called gel wash because it is specially formulated to clean the gel coat found on fiberglass surfaces. This coating is not the same as the clear coat on your car. The gel coat is actually more sensitive. In fact, many people elect to get their RVs clear-coated because it seems to stay shiny longer. This being the case, Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze #54 Boat/RV Gel Wash is extra gentle to preserve the gel coat. In fact, it will not remove wax or sealant!
Meguiar’s #54 Boat/RV Gel Wash is a rich, hi-sudsing formula that safely removes dirt, bird droppings, salt, and other environmental contaminants. Conditioners will increase the slickness and shine of the fiberglass. This wash is designed for frequent use and it will not cause detergent burn. The formula is biodegradable so run-off is not a problem.
To give your boat a safe wash, use a natural sea sponge. How appropriate! Just add one capful of soap per gallon of water and wash as usual. Rinse thoroughly with free-flowing water. Follow these same instructions for a RV. Dry the washed surface with a large Cobra Microfiber Waffle-Weave Towel and then polish using Meguiar’s #45 Marine/RV Polish. Follow up with a coat of Meguiar’s #56 Boat/RV Wax.
Keep the gel coat clean and clear with Meguiar’s #54 Boat/RV Gel Wash. It will preserve protective coatings and condition the gel coat to maintain a high gloss shine on your boat or RV.
