The Speedy Surface Prep Towel – Medium Grade eliminates heavy contamination, restores a smooth, glass-like feel to your paint, and maximizes your paint's natural shine. The Speedy Surface Prep Towel – Medium Grade removes the same bonded contaminants that professional grade detailing clay does, only faster, and without waste. Detailers and enthusiasts know that the secret to a great shine is deep-cleaning and preparing the paint. The Speedy Surface Prep Towel – Medium Grade is the first step in creating a mile-deep shine.
The Speedy Surface Prep Towel – Medium Grade is a soft, blue microfiber towel coated with an advanced polymerized rubber technology that works like professional detailing clay. It quickly removes stubborn bonded contaminates. Contaminates are anything that remained attached to the paint that normal car washing will not touch: Rail dust, paint over spray, brake dust, industrial pollution and environmental fall out. This contamination reduces shine by creating an opaque film. It also prevents waxes and paint sealants from forming a bond with your paint.
Mist the surface with your favorite clay lubricant, such as Detailer's Universal Clay Lubricant, and wipe the Speedy Surface Prep Towel – Medium Grade, rubber side down over the surface. You will feel the paint become smooth to the touch as you work back and forth. Wipe the lubricant off with a plush microfiber towel. Continue working a small section, about 4 square feet, at a time until the entire vehicle feels completely smooth. If the Speedy Prep Towel – Medium Grade becomes laden with contaminants, simply hose off or rinse in a bucket, and keep going. If you drop it on the ground, rinse away the grit, and continue using. We have heard reports of customers using the Speedy Prep Towel – Medium Grade on 100 or more cars!
Compared to detailing clay the Speedy Surface Prep Towel will last much longer,. It is also washable and reusable. This is a professional towel that offers fast removal of surface contamination. It may require subsequent light polishing on softer paint finishes. Always test an inconspicuous spot first. It is safe to use on paint, glass, molding, plastic, and metal finishes.
