3M™ Hookit™ Finishing Film 3 Inch Discs are expertly designed to level unevenness and imperfections in refinished acrylic lacquer paint. The discs leave the paint with a uniform finish ready to be polished to a deep gloss with 3M professional polishes. 3M™ Hookit™ Finishing Film 3 Inch Discs level orange peel, dust nibs and paint runs in refinish acrylic lacquer paint. The fine grade finishing discs cut fast, resist loading and leave behind a consistent finish.

3M™ Hookit™ Finishing Film 3 Inch Discs can also be used in scuff sanding before painting. The very fine finish allows the paint to lay flat and adhere properly. Use the disc damp to level scratches with a dual action polisher. The discs should be used with the 3M Clean Sanding 3 inch Disc Backing Plate -20427. The use of a DA polisher will ensure that the disc does not burn through the paint.

Cleanup is easy with the 3M™ Hookit™ Finishing Film Discs. Simply wipe off the blended area with a lint-free towel, like the Cobra Microfiber Detail Cloth.
