Five adapters are included to fit most 3 inch tools. The 3M™ Clean Sanding 3 inch Disc Backing Plate Kit has a flexible beveled edge that lessens the risk of the plate touching the paint. You'll be able to cut in closer to mirrors and emblems. The backing plate is constructed on foam material to absorb some of the vibration of the tool to reduce hand fatigue and improve operator control. The durable backing plate operates at a maximum speed of 15,000 RPM/OPM.
