Lake Country 1-Pad Polishing System
The Lake Country 1-Pad Polishing System is a collection of foam pads designed to be replaced after every use. By using a fresh pad for every vehicle, the pad always performs like new and there's no chance of cross-contamination.
The Tri-Density Backing Plate provides the cushioning and flexibility that would normally be found in the pad. Because of the backing plate's innovative design, each 1-Pad uses 65% less material than conventional pads. But you don't lose any pad performance! The Tri-Density cushion plate will not break down with use like regular pads.
Every Lake Country 1-Pad has a curved, bowl shape that easily transitions from flat to vertical surfaces. The form-fit pads are self-centering. Each pad features CCS Technology, closed cells that reduce product waste and reduces pad skipping.
Lake Country 1-Pads attach to the Tri-Density Backing Plate with hook and loop fasteners. The Tri-Density Backing Plate has a 5/8 x 11 thread to work with rotary polishers. 1-Pads are approximately 7 inches in diameter.

Tri-Density Rotary Backing Plate - This ultra flexible, cushioned backing plate makes it easy to transition from flat to vertical panels. You've never seen a backing plate bend like this one. The Tri-Density Backing Plate is specially designed to provide added cushioning to 1-Pads. It centers itself perfectly in each bowl-shaped 1-Pad.
1-Pad 4 Ply 100% Twisted Wool Compounding Pad - Each strand of high grade wool is tightly twisted to maintain a consistent level of cut for longer periods of operation. The thick yarns remove heavy oxidation and stains from neglected or never-before-polished surfaces. The pad has 1 inch long threads.
1-Pad 50/50 Wool Acrylic Polishing Pad - This wool pad has 50% 4 ply wool and 50% single strand wool/acrylic blend. This combination makes a light compounding/polishing wool that removes minor oxidation, haze, dullness, and spots. The 50/50 pad has 1 inch twisted threads, which are less aggressive than the shorter twisted threads found on the compounding pad.
1-Pad Cyan Advanced Cutting Foam- The blue foam is designed for compounding and swirl removal. This closed cell pre-polymer foam restores oxidized and heavily swirled paint. Looks can be deceiving; the blue pad looks coarse but actually finishes with no marring. You'll achieve an almost wax-ready finish in one step.
1-Pad Yellow Cutting Foam - Use this pad to apply compounds or polishes to remove severe oxidation, swirls, and scratches. It should only be used on oxidized and older finishes. Always follow this pad with a less aggressive pad and a fine polish to refine the paint until it is smooth.
1-Pad Orange Light Cutting Foam - The orange pad is made of firm, high density foam for scratch and defect removal. Use this pad with polishes and swirl removers. It's a multi-purpose pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections.
1-Pad Tangerine Ultra Polishing Foam- The tangerine foam is made for light to moderate defect removal and polishing. It has the cutting power just below that of the Lake Country orange light cutting pad, and the tangerine pad leaves a finish like you'd achieve with a black finishing pad.
1-Pad White Polishing Foam - The white pad is designed for the application of micro-fine polishes and cleaner waxes. This pad has very light cutting power so it is perfect for pre-wax cleaners.
1-Pad Black Finishing Foam - The black pad's composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final finishing to remove buffer swirls. It has no cut and will apply thin, even coats of waxes, sealants, and glazes.
